“I don’t mind working…but I mind working for nothing!”-Thorobread
Brooklyn, NY-born flamethrower Thorobread has the skills and style to soon make him one of the hottest lyricists to impact the music industry by far. And his future is constantly gets brighter as his recently released Felonious Records debut single “That Means I Love You” featuring Grammy Award-winning producer/ songwriter Shannon Sanders continues to gain support.
In addition, Thorobread along with label mate Zilla is featured on label mate Big Booom’s seething lead single “Blame It On My Swag” from the Felonious Records compilation Business Nothing Personal. Scheduled to be released in the Spring, the compilation introduces some of the most talented artists in the city of Cashville.
A fan of hip-hop since the first time he heard Run-DMC’s seminal single “Sucker MCs” in the park as a kid, he didn’t fully pursue his dream until he moved down south to Nashville in 2005 and met Felonious Records CEO Maurice Ferguson. Since signing with the label, he gained a regional following and fed southeastern streets with volumes of DJ C-Wiz-hosted mixtapes. And he will further stake his claim in the music industry with his as-yet-untitled solo album scheduled to drop later this year.
